 After researching the market in modern living, ( NYC and European market), in October 2005, Costas Andreou launched an interactive lifestyle store, bringing inspiration to the Greek market. Located in the heart of Athens (Psyrri) is a unique store that combines essential living, from ecosystem decadence, eclectic street wear, and useful products for the home and for the sophisticated consumer looking to find a contemporary and non-commercial product. The building in which Formika is situated has successfully maintained its modern 50’s glamour with a twist of urban style, shades of gray, an original mosaic floor, high ceilings and natural light. Resembling a gallery space, Formika displays, harmoniously, products that range from coffee table books, vintage furniture, collectable tin toys, museum gifts, and, carries brands unique to the Greek market.
